My journey into bagpipes started with an Irish friend daring me to play bagpipes. He said “If you’re really Scottish you would play bagpipes.” So I took the dare and went to a music store and bought a practice chanter and a tutor book. Over 20 years later, bagpiping has taken me to Scotland several times and have been able to play at the World Pipe Band Championships. I even was able to play bagpipes in Africa!

This journey has allowed me to play for Police & Fire Memorials, Veteran’s Day Events, Highland Games, Parades, Weddings, Birthday Parties, School Reunions, Funerals, Robert Burns Dinners, and many more.

I would really enjoy being part of whatever event you would like to add bagpipes to!
